Gloss like a Boss with GLYNT! Part 2 – How Do I Use It?!

Hey Gorgies!

We’re back with part 2...If you’ve not read Part 1, come back! If you have...Let’s go!

How do I use Liquid Colour Gloss?

Liquid Colour Gloss is mixed with the Liquid Colour Gloss developer (2%) in a ratio of 1:1 and applied to washed, towel-dried hair.

Pro Tip: We always recommend shaking your Liquid Colour Gloss bottles before formulating!

If you are only completing a glossing service, you can utilise GLYNT Volume Shampoo to gently cleanse the hair before applying Hydro Care Spray to brush through before applying. If you’re glossing after a blonding service such as highlights or a scalp bleach, you can use GLYNT Revital Shampoo to remove any lightener, then apply Hydro Care Spray to brush through before applying.

Depending on your personal preference, whether you’re a bowl-and-brush kinda stylist or a bottle applicator fan, the easy-to-apply gel-like consistency means you can easily apply at the basin or at your workstation. You do You!

Processing:

•        Work in quickly with your hands

•        Leave on for 10-20 minutes; observe colour development

•        Rinse out thoroughly! Do not shampoo!

•        If necessary, use a leave-in conditioner such as REVITAL Care Spray and style as normal!

Benefits of Hair Glossing Services:

  • Enhances shine and smoothness: Seals the hair cuticle, creating a sleek, light-reflecting surface

  • Colour refresh and tone correction: Neutralises unwanted undertones like brassiness in blondes or dullness in brunettes, and extends the life of salon colour

  • Frizz reduction and manageability: Smooths rough areas along the cuticle, making hair softer and easier to style.

  • Hydration and nourishment: Liquid Colour Gloss contains conditioning ingredients that restore moisture and improve hair health

What can I use Liquid Colour Gloss for?!

  • For Blondes: Neutralises brassiness and maintains cool tones.

  • For Brunettes: Adds depth and richness.

  • For Redheads: Refreshes copper and red tones.

  • For Curly or Textured Hair: Reduces frizz and enhances natural curl patterns.

  • For Natural or Virgin Hair: Adds shine and smoothness for a polished look using clear!

Whilst we’re on the subject of Clear...

Liquid Colour Gloss also has a 500ml Clear shade to dilute. This can be an amazing shine treatment option for natural or grey-haired clients, without altering their colour. Clear will dilute tones, not level, e.g. 7.44 + clear = 7.04, so the shade options and possibilities really are endless!

How long a glossing service lasts will totally depend on the canvas you’re applying on and your clients lifestyle in between appointments...but we say that Liquid Colour Gloss can last up to 8 weeks!

And finally, we thought we’d leave you with some Liquid Colour Gloss Formula Inspo...Thank us later!
