Barber Boost

If you feel like you are ready to take your barbering to the next level, join the follow-up course to award-winning barber, James Beaumont's Barber Essentials. This time, James focuses on more advanced barbering techniques.

Join us at Out of Salon Studios, with our Education Team for a day of creativity.

TOPICS INCLUDE

• Fading, blending, clipper, razor & scissor control!
• Two different haircuts.
• Cutting theory, explaining how to construct and refine a shape!

DURATION OF SESSION

A 6-hour session running from 10am-4pm, with lunch and refreshment breaks throughout the day. Lunch will be provided by us! Please make us aware prior to the day of the course if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.

LEARNING STYLE

The course is divided into three parts; 30% will be active discussions, exploring the expectations of the clients, 30% will be the best practices for advising customers and the remaining 40% will be a practical session to put the theory into practice.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

You'll learn to elevate your techniques such as mastering fool proof fades, perfect detailing and tapers whilst also looking into expanding service options in the salon with ideas such as facial hair shaping and detailing to suit each client.

CERTIFICATION

On completion of the day each attendee will be awarded a Barber Boost Certificate.

WHAT DO I NEEED TO BRING?

For this course you will bring your full kit – scissors, including your thinning scissors, sectioning clips (at least 6), clippers and all of your guards, neck trimmers, electricals and a willingness to learn!
